Over the next couple days I would like to do a sort of “blog series” about some of my favorite places & things from the places I have lived the longest. (Being Richmond, Greenville & Denver) The hardest to do will be Denver I think….since I’ve only lived here 8 months…but I’ll try. :) Hopefully if you live in one of these areas it will give you some ideas or some incentive to visit if you don’t live nearby.
Mostly I just keep thinking of things I want to do but can’t since I feel sick so much of the time.
Anyway I hope you enjoy it! The first post will start with where I lived the longest: Richmond.
NOTE: I do NOT claim to know everything about these places by ANY means, but I do enjoy reliving some of my memories and sharing some of my favorite places with you.
I’ve gotten so behind on posting, but I think moving all of your earthly belongings to a new dwelling place is a good excuse. Oh yeah & being pregnant and super tired. ;)
We are in the process of setting everything up, so there is a whole corner that is filled with boxes and stuff…
but we have made a little progress….
Much more to go, but with P working and me getting exhausted from putting the dishes away, it takes forever.
I’m not sure if my little schedule is going to stick because I have an idea for a short post series I really want to do. *sigh* We’ll see. Thanks for reading!! :o)
I just died laughing when I saw this....
I hope this makes your day as much as it made mine….:o)
If not, hopefully this will….
So I am hoping that giving myself a schedule of post subjects will keep me going. :) I haven’t gotten in all figured out, but here is a rough sketch…
Monday – Married life and the things I’m learning…or funny things that happened…there are lots of those.
Tuesday – I don’t know yet. Maybe about pregnancy something or rather….if so, I’m sure it will get interesting as time goes on…lol.
Wednesday – Alll kinds of wackiness – comics or funny pictures …in other words, something to make you laugh.
Thursday – I know a lot of you will probably tune out on this day if I actually go with this, but I’m playing with the idea of discussing theology. And I MEAN discussing…as in I want your input.
Friday – FOOD! After a whole week of cooking meals (especially as much as I use Pintrest) I hope to share something I especially liked the past week.
Sunday – Song lyrics, a verse, devotional….something like that. Simple and hopefully encouraging.
Saturday – HA! I’m sleeping in and you should too! :) Maybe a DIY post since Saturday is the only day I will have time to do that.
So since today is Tuesday…I guess I’ll just work on tomorrow’s post due to my indecision. :)
Hope today has been a great one for you!
For those of you who think that E.A. Poe had nothing to do with America besides heritage, you might be interested to know he did serve two years in the U.S. Army in his younger days…even if he did not continue his military career…*cough*….
Happy 4th of July!
I remember especially my two grandfathers and their service for our freedom.
And now a word from the American Romantic author & my literary hero, Edgar Allan Poe….
But list, O list,- so soft and low
Thy lover’s voice tonight shall flow,
That, scarce awake, thy soul shall deem
My words the music of a dream.
Thus, while no single sound too rude
Upon thy slumber shall intrude,
Our thoughts, our souls- O God above!
In every deed shall mingle, love.
